Developing capacity in extraction and processing will be crucial for self sustainable economical development of Serbia . New mining technologies would reduce the environmental footprint incurred by the critical material industry, while bolstering Serbian industry. Building domestic processing capacity, would ensure that value is added in Serbia, instead abroad. We hope to start doing more manufacturing in Serbia. We have a vast chemical industry here which we could utilize to secure supply of critical materials – and that is something that is already starting to happen with the foundation of Critical Raw Materials Institute of Serbia.
